This high-quality road bike wheelset is equipped with a robust maxtal aluminium rim construction, which allows it to handle all the demands that come with clocking up the miles. With a 19mm internal rim width and patented lightweight aero spokes, this model provides durable everyday performance from its superlight design. Lightweight Road Bike Wheelset

This road-ready wheelset is superlight (120g lighter than the former Ksyrium Elite UST Disc model) and durable as ever thanks to Mavic's patented ISM4D technology. This manufacturing process removes all excess material between each spoke hole while keeping the rim wall thick enough where spoke tension and stress is the highest. Made in France, in the brand's aluminium rim factory, it is also equipped with double-butted spokes that contribute to the weight reduction, while making each wheel more responsive. These spokes also have a patented elliptical shape that can save 5 watts for added efficiency.

Fore Tapeless Tubeless Technology

This wheelset's stiffness is optimised thanks to Fore technology. The upper bridge is not drilled, so it remains strong and rigid and doesn’t require the use of rim tape (another 30g saved per wheel). The rim bed’s updated shape makes it easier than ever to mount and remove tyres, and Mavic's UST Tubeless technology improves rolling resistance and grip while reducing the risk of punctures. The Infinity hub platform also optimises stiffness and power transfer with highly controlled spoke tension, while an Instant Drive 360 freewheel coupled with automatic bearing preload adjustment (QRM Auto) delivers fast engagement and durability.

Centre-Lock Disc-Brake Ready

Engineered specifically for disc brakes, this wheelset is compatible with a 12x100 axle up front, and 12x142 rear and can convert to Quick Release with supplied adaptors. For Centre-Lock disc rotors only. Available in Shimano or SRAM XD-Road cassette options to select, the Mavic Ksyrium SL Disc Road Wheelset can also convert to Campagnolo with an optional driver body (available separately).
