Bell 4Forty Air Helmet (MIPS)

Bell has taken their 4Forty and evolved the design to make it better than ever. A sleek shell sees improvements to venting and better goggle compatibility as well as a magnetic buckle to make fitment easy.

What hasn't changed is the superb level of protection. In the event of a crash, the EPS foam core provides shock absorption, helping to prevent injury. This protective core is fused to a durable polycarbonate shell. In combination with the inner, this system offers reliable protection against minor dings from trailside overgrowth as well as more serious impacts.  

MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System)

Made to meet and exceed international standards, Bell also turn to MIPS to add an extra layer of head protection to their 4Forty Air. This split-plane technology gives an extra level of brain-protecting technology, designed to redirect energy and provide more protection in certain impacts.

This system is integrated into the fit system, reducing weight, simplifying the design and optimising ventilation.

Feature-packed MTB Performance
