Los orígenes de Wiggle se remontan al 1920, cuando la empresa comenzó sus andanzas en Butlers Cycles, una pequeña tienda de bicicletas independiente fundada en la ciudad costera de Portsmouth, Reino Unido, en 1920. En 1999, Butlers Cycles se pasó al mundo online con el lanzamiento de su página web: www.wiggle.co.uk.

We have a full time and part time (20 hours per week) Technical Customer Services Advisor opportunites!  You will reporting to one of our Customer Service Team Leaders using your knowledge of bikes and parts to help, assist and advise customers with technical questions via Live Chat and Email with the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure customer queries are answered promptly and completely via both Chat and Email
  • Offer technical support on the whole Wiggle product range, with the objective of ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Calling customers when they request a call back service to provide detailed product information and recommendations and resolve issues.

An opportunity has arisen for a Junior Software Engineer to be involved in the creation and development of features to help us continue our growth. We are always improving our customer facing website, releasing every fortnight and prioritizing features directly with the business with a value/effort focus. Using a number of javascript frameworks, a variety of UIs, internal and external exist on JQuery, The Junior Software Engineer will be supporting SPs, nHibernate stacks and writing green field code using Dapper or another lightweight ORM. Injection is covered by Spring.net, being refactored to Autofac.

The ideal candidate will be keen to learn and support the business and thrive during this period of change. A confident, practical knowledge of C# intimately is highly desirable for this role.

You’ll be working on internal software that keeps the business running. We’re always improving our customer facing website, releasing every fortnight and prioritizing features directly with the business with a value/effort focus. Built around a SQL server backend, we use a variety of DB access techniques depending on the requirement. About the Job

As the UX Designer you will be responsible for assisting the Senior UX Designer in developing the user experience of the Wiggle website across all customer contact points. You will take customer journey pain points and propose solutions that always promote user needs but that take into account business goals and technical capabilities. You will liaise with product owners, business stakeholders, and researchers in order to understand business data and needs, all the while being a champion for our users. You will work alongside a front-end design team and IT teams either internal or remotely located to develop new functionality.

 

Accountabilities:

  • Represent the customer-focused UX strategy. Provide support and represent the customer for both large projects and smaller day-to-day work. You will be integrating with an Agile IT workflow and will employ data from a variety of qualitative and quantitative sources
  • Problem-solving. Employ creative, problem-solving skills to translate conceptual ideas (business needs and user goals) into interaction and design solutions
  • UX deliverables. Produce and present a range of deliverables including wireframes, prototypes, user journeys and usability reviews
  • UX Advocate. Work with stakeholders to ensure buy-in and that all business priorities have been considered. Communicate at all levels the scope of changes and ensure there is a forum for feedback

Job Purpose:

The Buyer role is to be an expert in the category market, with a full detailed understanding of the main Brands and products, and a commercial ability to select the very best customer product offer.  Buyers must be able to understand and operate within the agreed Merchandisers Range Framework, selecting the most appropriate suppliers, products, and negotiate industry leading prices and terms, and work with the Buying Assistant to set up all products with the correct data in a timely manner.

Context:

The Buyer role is the overall owner of the Product Offer, as such must have a deep understanding of the Wiggle customer, and the product category overall market.  Strong negotiation skills are essential to obtain the best possible cost prices, and supplier terms to enable Wiggle to offer the best prices to the customer.  The Buyer must operate within the agreed Merchandisers Range Framework to keep the range width and depth appropriate, with a balanced attribute product listing.  The Buyer is accountable for setting up items with the appropriate level of data, to enable customers to identify the right product, and to allow accurate range analysis.  The Buyer should be looking to on board new Suppliers, Brands and Products, at low risk using strong negotiation skills.

Senior Developer

As a Senior Developer you will design, create, test and document new and existing software components from supplied specifications in accordance with agreed development and security standards and processes. 

 

Working within the Solution and Architecture team you will be required to deliver strategic and tactical business change.  Change may require either the introduction of new Wiggle systems, enhancements to existing systems and integration with 3rd party systems.  Working within a small development team, the role will require working closely with IT delivery team, in the form of Business Analysts, Project Managers and the IT Service Team.  Beyond IT teams the role will require collaboration with stakeholders from all business functions in order to deliver change.

We have an exciting opportunity for a commercially savvy and commercially astute individual to join our fast -paced, growing Marketing Department here at Wiggle! Reporting to the Head of Business Development and Global Partnerships your focus will be to develop,manage and activate innovative marketing campaigns across geographies, verticals, and products for Wiggle and Chain Reaction Cycles in order to stimulate growth initiatives globally. Working closely with key partners across the business to deliver partnership activity and launch campaigns, you will also be responsible for identifying and researching new business propositions for WiggleCRC which are aligned to the group growth strategy. 

What you will be doing:

  • Marketing strategy and plan development
  • Implementation & activation of the marketing plans utilizing mainly owned and earnt channels with limited budget for paid channels
  • Responsible for the development, implementation and reporting of marketing activity for the WiggleCRC App, Loyalty, Cycle Insurance, Wiggle Legal, Cycle to Work and any new propositions
  • Support the Head of Business Development and Global Partnerships to identify new business opportunities and develop marketing strategies and plans to support these

In this key role, you will develop and manage marketing partnerships designed to strengthen our Wiggle and Chain Reaction Cycle brands and deliver business growth.  You will focus on growing brand salience, awareness and customer sentiment designed to recruit new customers and retain existing customers.

  • Day to day management of operational database environments.

Hours

Dependent upon the department, there are a variety of shift patterns available :

- 36 hours per week, working 3 x 12 hour shifts - Thursday, Friday and Saturday

- 40 hours per week, working 4 x 10 hour shifts or 5 x 8 hour shift patterns (both over a 7 day period)

Job Purpose

Reporting to your line manager, you will be responsible for taking part in all warehouse activities and functions. These area's include processing, goods in, returns and stock control.

- Receiving of supplier deliveries in a high volume warehouse environment

Reporting to the Site General Manager you will be responsible for all site operations during core hours. You will be accountable for the management, resourcing and control of key operational areas including replenishment, picking and packing of customer orders and despatch. Reporting into the Commercial Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for producing creative, engaging and relevant video content for use across a wide range of media, for the Wiggle retail brand. Working closely with stakeholders across the wider business, the successful applicant will engage with teams and individuals to produce this in keeping with the overall Integrated Marketing Plan.

What you will be doing:

  • Planning, creating storyboards and organising product to be used
  • Filming and editing material for use across Wiggle channels
  • Being the champion for video content and generating new ideas on how to boost views and engagement with it
  • Creating creative, engaging and relevant video content that our customers will love, including product videos and in-depth looks
  • Working closely with other stakeholders such as the Campaign Manager, Creative Lead and Brand Marketing teams

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Degree in a relevant subject (Media, Film etc)
  • Experience of setting up and operating cameras and sound equipment
  • A good understanding of setting up lighting for filming
  • A good understanding of what’s needed to set up a small video studio
  • Experienced in Adobe Premier Pro, After Effects or similar software, plus Adobe Suite (Photoshop etc)
  • A passion for cycling and / or tri sports would be a distinct advantage
  • Quick-thinking, and adaptable
  • Committed and conscientious approach to work
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Capability to think and act globally
  • Pro-active self-starter able to work with a degree of ambiguity
  • Confident decision maker

The Copywriter's role is a vital one, at the heart of the Commercial Marketing team within Wiggle. This team are the ultimate champions of our audience – ensuring that all marketing activity and decision-making is rooted in understanding our customers. The Copywriter's role is critical in ensuring that we are engaging with our customers with the best retail experience across the whole of their journey.

  • Being the champion for all copy across the Wiggle retail brands
  • Responsible for maintaining the standard of all copywriting across all channels, such as site, email, social media, ATL advertising, SEO and more
  • Creating creative, engaging and relevant copy that our customers will love
  • Working closely with other stakeholders such as the Campaign Managers (both Wiggle and CRC), Creative Lead and Brand Marketing teams to develop copy that is on brand but adapted to the purpose
  • Working closely with the Commercial (B&M), Ecommerce and UX teams to provide copywriting input into wider projects
  • Responsible for setting the right tone for individual campaigns, and briefing others so that they can roll this out to the wider business

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Degree in a relevant subject (English, Communications, Marketing, Media etc)
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience of copywriting and editing
  • Experience of copywriting for different media platforms and channels
  • A good understanding of the sports industry and of cycling in particular
  • Understanding of the challenges with online retail with good commercial awareness
  • Very adaptable with evidence of managing key stakeholders effectively
  • Ability to work in a close team in a dynamic working environment
  • Ability to handle multiple workloads simultaneously and perform under pressure

Roles and Responsibilities:

·         Act as an ambassador for the brand as the first point of contact for visitors at our busy Head Office 

·         Responsible for all travel arrangements: scheduling and managing domestic and international flights, hotel accommodation, car hires for all WiggleCRC employees.

·         Building strong relationships with corporate travel agencies and ensuring the best price

·         Order stationary, keeping costs low whilst maintaining quality

·         Sign for ad hoc deliveries

·         Assist the CEO’s Personal Assistant as and when required

·         Raise Purchase orders when necessary

 Knowledge, Skills and Experience: 

·         Previous experience working as a receptionist

·         Previous experience coordinating travel

·         Proficient in Microsoft Office

·         Experience with Oracle (not essential)

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate on all levels of the business

·         Excellent time management skills

·         Ability to manage shifting priorities
